Description

In order to provide inclusive care to all patients, its essential to identify and address any barriers or challenges that might arise.  Patient and family advisors can provide valuable insights into their experiences and offer suggestions for improvement. Additionally, healthcare and design professionals can work together to develop inclusive design strategies that meet the needs of a diverse patient population.

This session is an immersive experience in ambulatory care and emergency care. Participants will collaborate with patient advisors, clinicians, and other health care and design professionals to identify inequitable and exclusionary patient and family experiences and address them collaboratively with design strategies.

Workshop presented by the Institute for Patient-Centered Design
