Description

Hospital design is a long complex process that traditionally required diverse team members to align operational, environmental, experiential, clinical, and organizational needs and objectives. This interactive presentation will focus on the innovations driven by escalating constructions costs, required isolation of team members during a pandemic, and the need to design and deliver a replacement hospital within a finite schedule based upon staff availability, revenue projections, and the need to capture new market share. The presentation will be in a "game show" style format with a panel of contestants (including the owner, architect, and builder) with audience participation led by the host.
