Description
The mental health crisis is a significant issue that has been exacerbated by the recent pandemic. In response, the design field is focusing on regenerative design, which takes into account the recovery of the natural environment and promotes positive mental health and well-being. This session will explore the impact of these design principles on mental health and well-being and review case studies that have implemented these principles in mental health facilities, schools, and mixed-use projects. The design profession can address the mental health crisis and strengthen society by embracing social, neurological, and ecological systems. Case study examples demonstrate the efficacy of this approach. HSW
