  • Mossa Health™ by Skyline Design is a durable glass partition with locking wheels designed to divide space and contribute artwork and beauty in a sleek and sustainable package. Its modular design allows for flexibility in any healthcare space. Engineered for everyday use in even the highest traffic areas, it can be pushed aside to use as art then pulled into place where privacy is needed.

Mossa is manufactured in the United States with locally sourced materials of the highest quality. Made with ¼” Vitro Starphire tempered safety glass with an easily cleanable and nonporous surface compatible with any type of marker. The antimicrobial powder-coated steel frame is available in three elegant finishes: aluminum satin, white, and black. Available as magnetic or non-magnetic.

Mossa eliminates the need for unhygienic cubicle curtains while still maintaining patient privacy, including beautiful privacy patterns. Mossa can be customized with other selections from the Skyline Design digital design library, including those by nature photographer and retired General Practitioner Henry Domke, Bonnie Edelman, Suzanne Tick, and a host of other artists and designers.

Healthcare environments are filled with unique and specific challenges. Products created for these environments must be soothing and restorative for both patients and providers, and must be easy to clean and resistant to infection. Mossa meets these challenges. The creative and elegant designs for which Skyline Design is known have proven benefits in healthcare environments, and glass as a material is non-porous, durable, easy to clean and disinfect in place, and cost effective for both large and small facilities.

Mossa’s design offers safety, privacy, and aesthetics that support both patients and providers.

Mossa mobile boards are made with the highest quality materials, making it the right choice for even the heaviest traffic areas. It is easy to maintain, and, with no dirt traps in the design, it can be disinfected with any standard hospital cleaning protocols.

As a high-touch surface, cubicle curtains and vinyl screens commonly harbor HAIs. The most common superbugs can survive on these porous surfaces for months and can be a constant source of retransmission. Glass and antimicrobial powder-coated steel are resistant to stains, pathogens, and fungal growth.

Mossa was designed to make a substantial difference in patient outcomes and satisfaction as well as staff well-being and retention. It is made for facilities leadership, construction managers, and designers seeking to ensure the highest standards of safety and quality for their institutions.

Printed graphics can be customized to meet the needs of the staff. With its writable surface, the glass can be used as a communication board to update patient information which improves communication between the patient and caregiver.
