Description

The AIA/AAH Research Initiatives committee calls upon the industry to join us in a round table dialogue to shape the committee’s ongoing and expanding benchmarking efforts. The committee is looking for feedback on the value of the metrics currently being tracked and the level of interest in other measurable metrics to be studied. Utilizing data from the past 41 award-winning healthcare projects and case studies, they are analyzing the metric trends and their value. Discussions will include how various circulation, supply chain, and operational strategies influence the net and gross square footage calculations and metrics per exam room.

Learning Objectives

• Learn how to use the AIA AAH Case Study Library as a design resource & inspiration.
• Become familiar with a new design tool which analyzes the design metrics of clinics within the Case Study Library.
• Discuss the value of metric ranges, patterns and conclusions discovered through the tool.
• Help direct the future use of the tool, for other measurable yet meaningful metrics to study and application of the tool on other project types.
