Description

It has been reported by the CDC that 40% of Americans are struggling with mental health and substance abuse issues since March 2020. This phenomenon has resulted in a second curve that needs flattening—a global behavioral health crisis—creating another public health emergency. What role will the built environment play in helping mitigate this crisis? What does the future of mental health design look like? In this roundtable discussion panelists will bring awareness to this issue and start a multidisciplinary conversation to holistically view this crisis and its impacts from all angles, to propel change and forge a new future in behavioral health.
