Owners and operators are extremely focused on existing assets or acquisitions in the marketplace. This session will share the approaches and key elements in renovating and reprogramming an occupied senior living building to create a welcoming environment for the future while being mindful of the transition for residents, family members, and staff. Focused on the renovation of Erickson Senior Living at Chatsworth, it will explore the design process from programing to project completion and identify opportunities for innovation and improvement while receiving a return on investment. • Explain the impact of incorporating increased amenity spaces for building occupants and how to design for flexibility with evolving programs and operations in mind.
