Description
Kampung Admiralty was a “first-of-its-kind” intergenerational community built in the Woodlands neighborhood of Singapore. Designed by WOHA Architects, Kampung Admiralty proved to be a hugely successful and transformational neighborhood destination that is serving as a template for other planned intergenerational developments around Singapore. Singapore is also the world’s smartest city and leads the way in the adoption of technology as an integral part of daily living. As we know, the ability of older adults to age in place well and independently is increasingly turning to technology, and Singapore has a number of government-sponsored, innovative initiatives underway at individual, community, and city-wide levels.
